Thank God for good friends! Larry Jernigan and Dennis Higginbotham helped us lift the boat on the cradle and unfold and complete the copper wire ties that holds the edges together.
Yes, it was finally beginning to look like a boat. In just 2 hours with these guys help the basic frame was together and ready for transom and support pieces and ready for glassing and tape to reinforce seams.
Before the friends arrived to help out, Loy had redone the basic seams and retied the broken copper wires.
Yes, a boat is in the making and my friends and family may have to rethink their position that I'm off my rocker!
